Where's Wildflower
this summer?
Come visit me this summer + fall at some of our local outdoor markets! You'll have full access to my apothecary, including some of my favourite herbal books and a few surprises that I have up my sleeves.
You can find me at the Cranberry Portage Artisan Market from 11:00am - 3:00pm on the following Saturdays: June 7th || July 5th || September 6th
I'll also be at the Wild Things Market located in Creekside Park at the end of September (date tbd)!
Podcast
If audio is your thing, check out the Life Among The Wildflowers podcast on Spotify! We explore topics in holistic health + herbalism with a new episode coming out each month.
The Blog
The blog is coming soon! It will closely follow the podcast, containing the same topics but pared down to a more concise version. You'll also be able to save posts to Pinterest so that you can read them at a later time!

Get the dirt on all the Wildflower happenings like upcoming markets, workshops, online courses, freebies, and more!
We only send one or two times per month - no daily spam here.

![Here's a sweet little tip if you're new to medicinal herb gardening (or foraging for that matter): learn to identify your leaves! This is Marshmallow [Althea officinalis]. You can see these big beautiful leaves that are broad + kidney shapes with ridged edges BUT if you look to the left of this photo you'll see a few smaller, heart-shaped leaves with much smoother edges -》those are the first leaves! As the plant grows past the stage in this photo the leaves higher up on the plant can change yet again, becoming more pointy and less broad. Knowing the leaf shape + texture of a plant can make a huge different if you've:
• moved into a new place and aren't sure what plants are already in the beds or garden.
• planted seeds but don't know if what's coming up is infact what you planted
• trying to identify weeds at early stages for removal (or for medicine!)
• foraging
Learning your plant I.D. takes time so be patient! The more I grow certain plants in my garden, the more I'm able to identify their features at all stages! Take your time. Find a reputable book (a plant I.D. key is helpful). Grab a magnifying class if you need it. Go out and observe. Practice, practice, practice!🔎🌿
