Inspired by Aunt Francis in Practical Magic and the line that tickles me every time, "Oh dear, well.. a little Mugwort oil will fix that right up."  Our Sages, the Artemisias, are a genus of plants steeped in mysticism and folklore as well as being potent plant medicines.  I made this salve using a blend of Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) from my garden and Big Sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata) all the way from Lillooet, B.C.  The oil in this salve was crafted on Friday, September 13th and left for a full moon cycle. It's available in limited quantities and carries the energy of our Autumn Equinox + Samhain season.
The Mugwort + Sagebrush Salve can be used in ritual or spiritual practice, energy cleansing, or dreamtime assistance.  It's warming + pungent properties also encourage circulation when applied on the skin, making it wonderful for bruises, strains/sprains, muscle cramping + spasm, and muscle or joint pain.
