Ahhh the wonderful taste of Ginger that somehow manages to be fruity, lemony, pungent, and zesty all at the same time. Ginger is traditionally known for it's ability to soothe nausea, upset stomach, and indigestion. It can be incorporated for those with inflammatory conditions and through it's antispasmodic and circulation properites, it makes a lovely support for PMS symptoms such as menstrual cramps, uterine stagnation/bloating, sluggish digestion, and more!
Ginger Tincture
Fresh Ginger, Powdered Ginger, and Vodka.
For long-term use start with 5 - 10 drops twice per day and increase from there. For short-term ailments, use 15-30 drops as needed. Place drops in a small amount of water, juice, or tea and drink.
One of the most common questions I get is, "How much tincture should I take?" My best recommendation is to start small and work your way up! Every person has different responses to herbs, so it's best to experiment and find what works best for you.
